Tom will be along shortly to say that we are safer as a nation for this brave man’s vigilance. It's something disgusting liberals such as myself can never understand. It’s not in our DNA although DNA doesn’t exist because evolution is a hoax.

Someone needs to make videos showing how to permanently destroy firearms. First one an AR15. Bridge the barrel on a curb and stomp on it with steel shanked boots and bend the barrel. Better yet maybe superglue with the accelerator and you can walk up to someone with it slung over their back and quickly glue the naughty bits up. A super hot cartridge of epoxy with a mixing tip and blast it down the barrel of any gun. they make those with electric pumps now. Just thinking of putting stuff out there that young people can go have fun with. Hell put the barrel in a crack in the pavement or in a sewer grate and bobs your uncle. Bent and useless. Pay a bounty for anyone shown doing it on video.

None of those methods are legal. The ATF says how to do it.

And it does sound fun for kids:

Use an oxy/acetylene torch (not band sawed)

I'd also note that property is inanimate and can't be punished. Attempting to punish property seems like a passive aggressive response by someone who knows he's helpless.

What?!?

Cite the statute for us.

LOL
An unserviceable firearm is not destroyed and is still regulated as a “firearm” under Federal law. Any method of destruction must render the firearm so that it is not restorable to firing condition and is otherwise reduced to scrap

The ATF is pretty specific about what it takes to consider a firearm destroyed. I provided a link.

Filling a barrel with epoxy, as suggested, is quite easily restorable to firing condition. That's not legally a destroyed firearm.

By the way, when you've baselessly accused someone of lying and you realize it, there's a fork in the road. You apologize or you're an asshole. I've seen which fork you take.
