Well I'll say it for you Jules.
Agreed! - a clean job, is a safe and productive job. I suspect the half round or garbge skip box usually reside there, - and are probably elsewhere on the job, and someone emptied a garbage can there.
I've been on many a timber demo of a bridge or wharf, before and sometimes after a build, and never seen that many used up chains in a pile, pictured like above. Even on a demo job, where you're making a lot of cuts, and making sure we weren't cutting into nails and spikes, we'd rarely go through more then a chain in a day. Nor leave a pile of used chains like that, but perhaps that's the way that superintendent runs that job.
We'd file the teeth till there was a little less the 1/4" left on a tooth, all teeth filled with the same amount of file strokes, usually two-three strokes. If the tooth needed more then that, then hopefully the next filling evens everything up - if it doesn't then either 4-5 strokes on all teeth to even them up on the next go round filling the chain teeth. The rakers must be filled too. Every time the fuel tank is filled, file the chainsaw.

anyway, un-boxed the pole saw i got last week... bastards at Milwaukee to include chain oil in a $400+ kit.. glad i got the salesman to go grab a bottle while i was checking out

I like to file my rakers down a bit low. Then again, I've been using a chainsaw for close to 50 years. When I hand my saw to most people, they think I saddled them up to a bucking bronco.
I've been using chainsaws a bit over 50 years. like my rakers a wee bit low, too. However my wife uses the chainsaws up to the 034, around here, too, so I file the rakers down, three strokes of the file for hard woods, but for most other softer woods I give the rakers, two strokes of the file.

so i need a 5/32 file size for a 10" Chain, 3/8" Pitch , seems to be a lot of "chain saw" files on amazon... what brand is worth buying? PFERD? Nicholson?
This filing jig was recommended when I took a safety class a while back. My blades have worked much better because the my filing is more consistent and it’s easy to use so I tend to sharpen more often than I might otherwise. It helps make up for lack of experience.

I disagree, the best feeling in the world can vary by what's important or one is trying to achieve at a precise moment in time - which can include any of the following for me: before I ease out after the finish of a particularly and pleasant coupling, or the feeling I get after I've bringing a particular lady to a satisfying body wrenching sexual climax, or the feeling after having the sails properly adjusted for the conditions, or the feeling I get when I sit down to a dinner with my favorite foods, or the feeling I get after a toke of a particularly tasty and pleasing bud, or the taste a particularly good Ruby Red Grapefruit. Your feeling/s may vary.

.... as opposed to the almost universal experience with 'ezy-breaks' where you now have a chunk of hardened high carbon steel broken off inside a relatively soft & easy to drill bolt... if only you'd drilled it out in the first place.

I'm not on pain meds, and was never on conventional pain meds. I did use 1/4 of a 50/50 CBD/THC 10mg gummies, my first month home, from the hospital, so I could sleep through the night the end of September and first three weeks of October of 2018. If you call smoking the green bud being on a med - I have not been on a green bud med for pain, since the fall/winter of 2018 till the summer of 2019, when I used Willie's Best Shark Shock for a year. I did try an edible gummy 10 mg CBD/THC, actually two of them for back pain in February of 2019 - never again! I've never been so stoned in my life - in fact my wife commented about it, "that she's never seen me look stoned ever, till then." I do smoke Sativa hybrids, and Sativa/Indica hybrids, which are more like drinking a shot of espresso. I don't like green bud, that makes me feel nor look stoned.

In regards to my "it" answer, the answer lies in the question, "What the best feeling in the world" and it seemed obvious, that "soaking it in cider" was clearly one of the answers.
