Did you watch the whole video? The guy rigged a hammer to tap on his fuel pump to get it going.
And? I still don’t understand what’s so unusual.

EDIT: oh I get it, he should’ve used a big screwdriver, handle first cos he’ll dent the pump with that hammer! Too funny!

I have 4 of those..... But they were free.Made out of scrap Mahogany, and very fine grain D-Fir. I haven't used them in years, but they hang nicely on the shop wall.

I'll bet they didn't cost you almost $400.
Some people obviously have way too much money!
Like I said.... Free.... Except for an hour or two of slack time putzing around with scrap wood.
Actually the longest set, which can reach about 7' is Redwood, and Canyon Live Oak. The others are Mahogany and D-Fir.

Nice, but seriously?
It’s not handy very often but when it is….it’s really handy. It’s an infinitely repeatable absolute dead nuts on way to check consistent spacing or square when clamping frames. I always found measuring the inside or outside corner and then comparing the other way a little hard with a tape measure.

Sorry Jules. My humor meter has been out of whack since before Christmas. I'll try to re-calibrate it before my birthday. ;)
Well, the more I thought about it, the more I realized it was more a tool I'd admire for its precision than it's usefulness. Sure, it would be nice for measuring the bottoms of drawers and a few other things but I've never needed anything like that so why blow the money now? I cancelled the order.

But now that I know my SO's threshold for b-day presents... :devilish:

This is on my want list. Comes in multiple sizes and stores compactly. Seems ideal for breaking down sheet goods in the driveway or making a temporary work surface.

i'm a guy with a small work space, permanent benches, break down tables and saw horses present a real storage issue...this looks like a great solution.

P.S.
these guys have other neat solutions too https://boratool.com/

The centipede uses the same basic structure as many "pop up" tradeshow booth displays and rigidity is not one of its attributes. I think two of those toughbuilt sawhorses could do anything the Centipede could do but much more effectively.
