I've had a lot of luck with Dewalt batteries. The only ones that have crapped out were over 10 years old at the time. One made it over 15 years. Both were the older 18v. The oldest 20v I have now is pushing 10 years.🤣
Fortunately, after a brief dance with the early battery stuff - lawn stuff mostly - I decided to skip any further reliance on batteries. The single exception to this is my Festool drill/driver. Those lithium batteries have lasted forever and been flawless in recharging and the length of use. So.....moral of the story is all my stuff is corded or pneumatic hose.
As far as cordless nailers, I've looked but every video I've seen of them requires a charge loading time. Made me think cordless wasn't meant to replace pneumatic.
