We're lucky if we ge a couple J24's out of about 8 in the area at any race.

Great to see such a turn out...but it does make one wonder where the other 79% are if they can't make the 3BF.

...is shaping up to be a fiasco. Forecast breeze pretty much = or less than opposing tidal current around the whole course. Pity it couldn't have been on a more favorable tide.

If you're drifting around after the start, you might not want to do it in front of Pier 35. A cruise ship is scheduled to arrive there at 1030 - about 50 minutes after the Moores start. The AURORA, 886 feet and 4-5 stories high . . .

yeah, I'm guessing we'll see a lot of retirements due to the need to power up and get out of there.

Have your anchors handy - they can be a great tactical weapon.
