You know what they say about bluegrass music...

It's not as bad as it sounds.

Why are they all so sad and pissed off looking?

We've been asked to play an unexpected show Sunday at Daryl's House Club for Brunch. Anyone local enough (NY,CT) and would like to have a decent brunch and with some bad ass Bluegrass:

WOW!!! That's fucking HUGE! Congratulations!
Daryl is one of those under regarded musical masterminds.
Pretty much anyone who is anyone in music has played w/Daryl at some point, and they pretty much all say he's a really nice guy, and very talented.
"New kid in town" by the Eagles was theoretically written about him and John Oates... Because "Sarah Smile" knocked the Eagles off the charts for a whole summer.

Hey! How about playing the LLBean Summer Concert Series in Freeport, ME? You'll get a lot of exposure in uppah New England and you might even enjoy hangin' around for a day or two after. Lotsa big names play it!

Truth be told, it's free to the public and pretty much our only exposure to music in the summer around here anymore.

I'd even buy your tee shirt!

Well that’s on you. There are plenty of music venues nearby as well a bunch of different festivals.

(We can argue about whether any are worth paying for later)

we're set to play Sunday River next winter....but yes I know thats a year from now

we need to take most of summer off as guitar player is having shoulder surgery mid June and will be out for 6-7 weeks unable to play

Oh, absolutely. There's just too much stuff out there, lots of it even good. It's just so hard to keep up that at some point one has to choose, pay to see someone I know I like from the past or risk my bucks and time on an unknown new entity, and my bucks aren't proliferating the way I'd hoped they would.

Yet again.. first world problems, I know.
