Yeah. Though, I don't believe D&D fans faced the same level of hatred as trans individuals are facing.

Not to mention states are crafting laws that essentially declare it to be "open season" on trans folks.

Watch. You know it is happening. And will escalate.
D&D aficionados faced something slightly less dangerous.

Twice.
What a easy presidency he had!
Tax coffers overflowing with the tech boom and RR’s growth friendly tax policies. The left over free and easy lifestyles from the social growth of the 60’s 70’s and 80’s. It was like 8 years on a cruise ship lounge chair.

You're right that the spite and negativity directed towards D&D players was not at today's level but it was a clear danger. Pretty much all churches in my area fulminated against devil-worship and witchcraft, schools threatened expulsion for any kids caught with D&D materials.

Not as bad as where I think it's headed now, but the Satanic panic of the '80s (that criticized D&D, amongst other shit) was pretty bad. Approximately 12,000 accusations of group cult sexual abuse were made, with many lives ruined - including incarcerations. Some even in comparatively sane Canada.

Lets recap: In the 80's some religious quacks decided that 'those people' (preschool teachers) were abusing children. Sex abuse, cannibalism, etc.. So they went after em. Got a lot of them arrested. Some spent their life's savings on defense. None of it was true. McMartin preschool is one of the best known examples.

Does that sound familiar? Religious quacks? 'Protecting' children? Yup. Same playbook. Stupid fucking religious puppets are such tools.

by jove, we see eye to eye!
In high school I used to do this thing with the girjs where we would try to get close face to face and look eye to eye. It was really hard to look at two completely different images like that.
Closing one eye was really weird.

A new twist, Dylan Mulvaney now says she's attracted to women. I'm beginning to think she's having us on.

Nah mate, no sex change. He's just playing dress up.
well, lucky he's not a 12 year old who's parents let him cut his dick off. I suppose?

better to find out later that you are not a gay or a gay lesbian or a lesbian who is secretly a gay lesbian.

He still has his junk?
