Desantis is systematically trying to whitewash history by making it illegal for teachers to teach it. For instance, there is no argument that whites were the primary drivers of slavery in the US. The laws DeSantis has tried to pass would make it illegal to teach that.
A concerted effort by the florid government to stop the accurate teaching of history is a forum of discrimination. I'm sorry you don't see that.
A number of his laws have been thrown out for the same reason. You have a government in Florida that is actively working to marginalize some of their residents.
