If a Republican wins, I am actually concerned about being registered as a Democrat. My party affiliation, linked to my name and address is readily available on the internet.

Trump has spent his whole life trying to “belong”. It’s why he left Queens for Manhattan. It’s why he hung out and spent time with celebrities. He always wanted to be accepted by that upper echelon of society, the true upper class. But of course these people know a tacky, new-money grifter when they see one, and not even becoming president gave Trump the esteem he so desperately craves.

Over half of Americans (55%) would disapprove of former President Donald Trump pardoning himself if he were convicted in the classified documents case and reelected as president in 2024, a new Yahoo News/YouGov poll has found. That’s compared with just 28% who would approve, according to the survey of 1,626 U.S. adults conducted from June 16 to 20.
Of course, we know there are several here who would be in that 28% crowd. They claim to not support the defeated ex-President. But, they sure go to great lengths to defend him.
