Federal prosecutors have gathered evidence of president’s participation in transactions that violated campaign-finance laws




As a presidential candidate in August 2015, Donald Trump huddled with a longtime friend, media executive David Pecker, in his cluttered 26th floor Trump Tower office and made a request.

What can you do to help my campaign? he asked, according to people familiar with the meeting.

 
Mr. Pecker, chief executive of American Media Inc., offered to use his National Enquirer tabloid to buy the silence of women if they tried to publicize alleged sexual encounters with Mr. Trump.

Less than a year later, Mr. Trump asked Mr. Pecker to quash the story of a former Playboy model who said they’d had an affair. Mr. Pecker’s company soon paid $150,000 to the model, Karen McDougal, to keep her from speaking publicly about it. Mr. Trump later thanked Mr. Pecker for the assistance.

If he weren't already known, I would swear "Mr. Pecker" would be one of the pseudonyms employed by President Trump.

Like when he pretended to be someone else to brag about his own sexual exploits.

It takes a seriously damaged person to do such things.

President Trump called reporters, claiming to be "John Miller" or "John Barron" (interesting he named his son after an alter-ego) and brag about his wealth.

Donald Trump's Lawyers Reportedly Want Him to Blame Melania for Stormy Daniels' Payment to Avoid Felony Charges​

According to Rolling Stone sources, the former president’s lawyers already have a legal strategy to try and squirm out of the possible charges. They are trying to get him to put the blame on his marriage and Melania Trump — he didn’t want his wife to find out, so he paid off Daniels. Well, there’s a reason Donald Trump doesn’t want to take this path. Remember, he denies ever having a tryst with her while she described her affair with him as “the least impressive sex I’d ever had” in her memoir, Full Disclosure. Daniels’s affair with Donald Trump allegedly occurred in 2006 just after Melania had given birth to their son, Barron.

If Donald Trump takes his lawyers’ advice, then he has to talk about the encounter he swears he didn’t have with Daniels.

After Trump's January 6 insurrection, the Democratic led House voted to impeach him (for the 2nd time) on January 13. Yeah, the GOP Senators were quite literally afraid for their lives, physically distressed, fearing Trump's brain dead, nut job, gun owning supporters. Hi Tom! Only one, Mitt Romney, voted to convict. Add to that the prospect of being primaried and add another form of fear. However, they bravely voted to give the Capitol+Metro police Congressional gold medals.

I think the news videos of Josh Hawley sprinting away, and the RWNJs including McCarthey crying in fear (McCarthey said that afternoon that he was not sure all his staff made it out alive) might help persuade the public how real it is.
