Termination of the regulations found in the constitution?! ... Donald Trump has committed political suicide. What will Democrats do without him?
Why do you think that?
I haven't noticed ANYTHING that shows him losing his grip on the Republican Party. If the primary were today I am pretty sure he would win it by a very good margin.
If they cared about the crazy shit he does, this would have ended him long ago:

The denial that comes after his indictments are filed will be something for the ages. How is Lindsey Graham ever going to pull himself out of his own ass?

I wandered over to Free Republic to see what TeamR partisans think about ending the constitution.

It crossed a line for some. There were still plenty who were willing to back him up.

Bottom line: really stupid. Gained him nothing because those diehards are diehards. Alienated people who have been friendly, or at least tolerant, in the past.

I congratulate the GOP, if @Dog 2.0 ’s most recent survey is to be believed, on their having mixed feelings about throwing out the Constitution.

It’s a close race, but the guy who wants to toss out the Constitution is a few points behind in the polls.

Too bad NOT A SINGLE SINGLE GOP LEADER will publicly chastise the presidential candidate who wants to suspend the time honored rules which govern our nation and enshrine democracy as our most sacred principle in order to stay out of jail and face financial ruin for crimes against the nation.

A healthy percentage of Republicans still want the would-be dictator to be in charge, but Dog wants to believe the party is all better now and full of patriots.

With patriots like these, who needs enemies?

Not only do you have any evidence to support your assertion, you have not made a specific accusation.

Meanwhile, your party is conflicted about whether to make the Constitution null and void.

You’re worried about dust in your neighbors eye, ignoring the log in your own. Grow up.

Things are changing fast then, about a week prior Trump was still in the lead.
The idea that Trump is polling anywhere above single digits is still utterly depressing and STILL the GOP has not denounced him. There is a fair amount of tepid "one foot in one foot out" stuff that is like the 2015/2016 "never Trumpers" that made sure they could jump right back on the train if it looked like it was picking up speed. Really the ONLY thing Team R has against Trump right now is he is looking like a loser, not that they care about his policies.
I have 100% certainty that if his polls pick back up, Team R will be right on that Trump Train with 1st Class tickets.

Questionable....

New York Post

New York Post - Right Center Bias - Credible - Reliable - Conservative - Republican
Factual Reporting: Mixed - Not always Credible or Reliable

  • Overall we rate the New York Post on the far end of Right-Center Biased due to story selection that typically favors the Right and Mixed (borderline questionable) for factual reporting based on several failed fact checks.

If I didn't make an accusation, I don't need evidence to support it. However, if I had said that Joe Biden participated in Biden Inc's influence peddling business, I would have documentary evidence and a firsthand witness to cite.

So we agree. You’ve made no specific allegations and have presented no evidence of wrongdoing.

Thanks for confirming.

Top House Intel Republican condemns Trump’s calls to suspend Constitution over 2020 election

During an appearance on CBS’s “Face the Nation,” moderator Margaret Brennan asked (Rep. Mike) Turner if he condemned Trump’s post on Saturday calling for “the termination of all rules,” including those in the Constitution, over his election claims.

“Absolutely,” Turner responded. “And I believe, answering your question, that people certainly are going to take into consideration a statement like this as they evaluate a candidate.”

As I think I said before, along with many others, at some time soon TFG will open his fat mouth wide enough to stuff his dainty size seven shoe into it. Well, perhaps here it is.

But wait, there's another shoe. Keep waiting folks, it's on the way.
