If Trump were to get back into office, the first thing he would do is start dismantling as much of the electoral machinery as he possibly could, including recruiting special military units with hand-picked Trump-loyal leaders.

He wanted to be Dictator, not President, but he was too lazy to make much of a try for it. This time, he'll know a little more and he'll have more dedicated sycophants around him.
