You said earlier; “The police are us, and we are our own victims. We currently suck as a society”. That five guys whose job is to police one of the nation's most violent cities themselves resorted to inexcusable violence is not an indictment of “the blue”.

And now, if the Antifa activists that are calling for violence have their way the war on cops will resume and the biggest losers will again be our cities, primarily minority communities.

I have seen no evidence that those five black cops from a majority black police department who killed a black guy were racists.

Oh, and "defund the cops" is a leftist slogan for defunding the cops. That hasn't worked out so well for you in Philly. (or anywhere else)

I don't see this situation as just racism. If anyone tries to tell you racism between blacks is not a thing, they have no idea what they are talking about.

I do see this as people who felt they were not being respected enough felt they had to teach someone a lesson. Mr. Nichols died because he did not immediately comply and become 100% cooperative. When we acknowledge that not complying with cops is going to end badly, we give the cops enormous power. Simple infractions, followed by non-compliance, become capital offenses.

Couple that with "Qualified Immunity", and you can see where monsters are born.

I invite all to read this. Read all of it. You may not agree with everything. But, it SHOULD make you think of how we have set it up where stuff like this can happen.

I watched an ex cop video breakdown of the beating.

How 5 cops couldn't cuff the kid is ridiculous! Really bad training as evidence by them constantly spraying the victim and each other with pepper spray. 1 of the cops directly sprayed himself.

The worst of the beating happened at the end after they finally cuffed him.

All 5 are going to jail, some a lot longer than the others - it was bad...
