Even if they could find 300K troops. Who’s going to outfit them? Train them? Command them? Feed them? Deploy them?

Yeah good luck with that.

This is still a #1 question. Did someone get the grand Pootin to delay until they had presented him with another case? Will they be the next to fly like a pigeon from the fourth floor?
So very banana republic.
Funny you should ask....

35km traffic jam at the russian border to Finland. This crossing is still open for Russians with Schengen visas.

Brain drain, heading right back to 1959 and not passing "go". What a tragedy this guy is perpetrating on proud good people with an amazing history. We thought the days of folks like Stalin and Pol Pot were over. Amazing in this day and age in a country largely westernized without the huge economic disparity of 30's Russia and 70's Cambodia, that one person could so drastically impact the economic and social day to day of such a large number of people.

Read a nasty bit of analysis that Putin will annex what he has occupied and then justify use of tac nukes to protect "Russian soil " if needed
With around 40% of his precision munitions failing to reach the target and a not-insubstantial number of them falling within their own lines, it will be entertaining if he does. It's not like the Ukrainians are going to stop taking back their country, radioactive or not.

I wouldn't call even a small nuke "entertaining". Somebody needs to beat Putin to death with Donald Trump's head.

A nice video from the wayback machine. All is lost for Ukraine, Putin is a genius with extra Pompeo.

I don't suppose he would use the tacticals on the newly stolen Russian territory, but lob them into Ukraine. Hope he somehow has a fatal trip in the Kremlin soon as if this happens, it will not be good for the world. Escalation would be probable.

Wherever he drops nukes or bios, it won't accomplish what he hopes it will. That's what happens when your advisors are too scared to tell you the truth or too loyal to be competent.

It might be best to send messages publicly that will be heard/seen by the whole Russian chain of command, rather than trying to speak to Putin, about what will happen if they launch nukes... that it will not give Russia a victory but will make history view Russia as a horrible villain and furthermore it will result in far worse consequences than loss of Ukraine.

To late, Crimea was annexed and Russian soil, and targeted. They spend months using the nuclear threat. And will for months.
Not sure how Ukraine would be able to take back Crimea. No navy to speak of. Narrow corridor, easy to defend.

If Ukraine controls the land corridor to Crimea, and takes the Kerch bridge out, they could take their time mopping up the unreinforced and unsupplied remnants.

Maybe the Russian navy would give up, but I doubt it, and bridge or no bridge, Crimea could be supplied on the east coast via barge
