This has a couple of high efficiency generators, just tie it to the dock in Odessa and plug it in.
Drop the planes off in Italy and rename it the USNS Power Supply so it qualifies to get through the Straits.

There was a time. It has gone and events have rendered it moot, but there was a time.

At that time Ukraine was willing to cut a deal which would've left the break-away republics and Crimea in Russian hands. However Zelensky was unable to stop the militias on the 2014 borders from continuing the fight.
I read the article and I do not think your conclusion is on par with that article. Crimea was not even talked about. And goal was absolutely not Donbas or Crimea in Russian hands.

However, the situation in the Donbas remains explosive. Despite the ongoing talks in Minsk and force disengagement on the line of contact, more cease-fire violations were committed in both Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts in September than in the previous month. At this point, ending the conflict seems more an aspirational goal than one to be achieved on a timetable.

95 days to go to better weather in Ukraine.
For Ukraine it is a count down.

As long as there is food they will find a way to survive with wood stoves, coal and snow for water etc.
But for big cities it is more dire.

I measure 78km between Dnipro and wetlands for Russia to resupply some 40,000 troops in Kherson region? Could be a pretty shit winter for them??
There have been reports they don't have very good gear.
Do we have truckloads of new cold weather gear going to Ukraine, my guess is yes? Upthread there was footage of muddy trenches, gotta lift your spirits to get complete new set of clean, waterproof gear...

Sounds like a well regulated militia could come in handy.

Only if this militia had anti-tank weapons and artillery. But do carry on with your fantasy, you seem to enjoy it very much.

Last night I watched the PBS broadcast of Turandot at the Met, the lead soprano is Ukranian and for her last curtain call she came wrapped in the Ukraine flag and brought down the house. This was recorded last August or September, the point being the patrons at the Met in NY are well educated and wealthy and the support they showed is telling. There will be a push by the aholes elected to cut support in Congress but I don't think it will fly. My youngest nephew is in the US infantry currently in Lithuania supporting NATA and Ukraine.

The US has not always done the right thing but this is a clear cut fight of good vs evil and it can't end until evil is destroyed. Whatever the cost in lives, suffering and monies if not stopped now it will be much worse in the future. Is there a diplomatic solution? Yes. Total withdrawal from Ukraine, buffer zone created and reparations. It's 1939 again.

slava Ukraine.

Hmm

A lot of public behavior, especially groups like an audience, behave in a performative fashion. It’s easy to clap enthusiastically and stand with others in a meaningless spasm of bonhomie.

But as Trump has shown us, in the privacy of a voting booth Americans may vote for a morally reprehensible, incompetent narcissist.

I’m not persuaded that a GOP torn between the “leadership” of MTG and Desantis is capable of, or interested in supporting Ukraine.

Since you didn't see the event will discount your opinion - there were a number of banners unfurled and small flags waved at that moment. While I have never been to the NY Met I have attended a number of classical programs from ballet to opera and can comment on a typical audience which has nothing in common with a Trump rally. People who have money have influence, just a fact of life and I found it encouraging that so many enthusiastically supported Ukraine at this event.
YMMV
