As I understand it, the rail bed be cannot be repaired until summer. It was likely heat damaged in the conflagration, and its replacement requires a lot of barge work.

And mainly to aggravate others, here is a picture of Saint-Exupéry in my city, talking to the locals. This modest airfield still exists, practically abandoned, but it is an official historical site, right next to Little Prince Avenue on Campeche beach, which some believe was named by Saint-Exupéry himself. He is a local legend, part of the stories of the older generation of fishermen, and known locally by the brazilianized name of "Zé Perri".
