Am very curious about this too. If the flow slows down in the next week or so then the remaining dam level may not be too bad.Be interesting to see how much of the dam is left and how big the reservoir is behind it.

Because the water can retreat, but the ground will remain saturated and unnavigable for MUCH MUCH longer.What leads you to conclude that once the water retreats in 2-3 weeks, that they will have a shorter line?
Is this because the water has reached the lowest point of the dam break, or because the water is at equal height both sides? Sure hope it's the former, the damn thing is already a years-long disaster.The water is already starting to recede from max flow

That is not everywhere true in UK. I don't know the area well enough to know that it will be true in UkraineAround here, in the famous British summer, winter flood pasture nevertheless dries within a few weeks.
