Love the transom areas have current Volvo car styling. I'm as a big a fan of foiling multihulls as anyone but the notion of different boats for in-port racing seems ludicrous. You could have a series that follows the Volvo around, like Porsche Supercup races that support a lot of F1 events, but the idea of both the multihulls and big boats contributing to the same points for the VOR seems deeply silly.

Different boats is too much of a gimmick.  Doesn't seem like a serious race.

The problem is the ocean racing boats are 60ft monohulls, making this race clearly secondary to the IMOCA races.  Should have picked something different like trimarans.
