Some initial thoughts on ours, order #5053, received about 3 weeks ago, ordered at the end of October, 2021:
• Size of the screen is smaller than expected, but the read out is very clear and easy to see from the mast to our cockpit (J/80)
• Pinging the line (sighting down the line from the mast, with the bow offset configured) provides very accurate info (time to line [TTL] and distance to line[DTL]), and the additional line bias/line length data is pretty cool as well
• Having the pitch angle is awesome, just to have some objective measurement is nice
• Waiting on the LED issues to be worked out; as of now using them for shift tracking uses white and blue (not green and red) and the colors are different for each tack (e.g. blue represents a lift on starboard, but a header on port); it's still cool to see a visual cue since the arrows up (lift) or down (header) on the main screen are in fact a bit harder to see from the cockpit
• Using the Auto function on the Angle screen is pretty easy and gives an estimate of the wind direction and tacking angle, and of course determines your VMG for TTL; I've requested Vakaros consider adding a function on that screen (maybe in place of the "Back" button) so we could perform a wind shot (heading into the wind) in order to update the estimated wind direction; this would update the tacking angles and TTL functions automatically without the need to sail upwind again on both tacks to reset those angles
