I was being sarcastic, but you are right, until they find out who did this, it really could be anyone for any reason.

That being said, how crazy would it be if some hillbillies arguably committed an act of domestic terrorism killing the power to 40K people in the middle of winter because their Christian sensibilities are offended by a drag show. "Sorry your grandmother died because her home dialysis machine didn't have power, but we can't have no men in dresses 'round here. That's just not right."
