Looks like Conrad has about a day and a half of decent conditions, and then several days of seeing if he can go upwind at all. Will probably be a week from now before the next decent downwind or reaching conditions come along.

Hopefully he can make enough headway to get into the Bay of Biscay before it becomes fully upwind. At least that would give him a less constrained course to work with.

And congratulations to Arnaud Boissiere who finished tenth on "La mie caline". With Armel Le Cleac'h, they are the only 2 skippers to finish 3 Vendee Globes in a row.

Looks like Conrad has another day of decent downwind sailing, followed by 5+ days of upwind. It'll be interesting to see if the rig will go upwind at all. If it won't, he might need closer to two weeks to finish.
