makes ya thunk on a few tings like:
If ya wanna a true cruising boat mebbe it would look like Bill’s.
(not bill the cat, of course).
bermuda rig: great for racing, but sail change at 0200 in 10 foot seas, single handing? junk rig seems better choice.
long keel: racing yea, but finding a shallow place to anchor and scrape the hull or trailering, bilge keels make a sense
after watchin 55 episodes, he could‘ve made an armada size fleet a stitch n glue dinghy s or canoes. this guys patience and dedication is phenomenal. his SWMBO‘s dedication is remarkable as well
