They should be charged (oh wait they are being charged) and be on a leave of absence (oh wait they are on a leave of absence) until the matter is resolved. If they are guilty they need to be shitcanned. If they are not guilty, the administration needs to do a cost-benefit analysis of retaining them with asking them to resign, balancing the foundational US legal belief of innocent until proven guilty, with the fact that the court of public opinion is not a court of law. In other words, treat them like you would treat anyone else.



Honestly, I don’t care about the characteristics of the person, the important thing to know before making a judgement is the bag: was it just designer or was it designer classy, how many wheels could swivel, was it designed in a way to carry a lop top bag without having to awkwardly hold on to the laptop bag?
