Frequent traveler tip: Grab a roll of your favorite spinnaker repair tape and attach to your suitcase like it's the airline luggage tag. Basic white works fine but I like the louder colors.

For the record, I too have picked up the wrong luggage by mistake, only in my case I did not realise it until leaving the airport. Went back and mine had been turned in and the airport counter guy was rather irate... dunno if he got an earful from the other passenger, probably so. I still apologized for making a stupid mistake and was glad my own suitcase had not disappeared.

Yep! Stingette attaches a small but bright pink ribbon to my luggage now
