He did warn they are going to be dumb ones. But maybe that is not your question.
Probably I am not understanding what the question is. But if you put your hand on the boom you know where it is without looking at it. If it comes for you you will know instantly and can duck.
Also, if you start to lose your balance, you can steady yourself by bracing against the boom (as long as you are pushing it to leeward, where it is not free to go).
Also also, in light air, sometimes it is good to hold the boom to leeward so that the main doesn't flop back and forth (or not as much).
Which of those things is happening here I can't say. Maybe more than one. If I could watch the video I might have a better guess.
OK I found the video and watched that part. He is just lightly bracing against the boom for balance. But maybe that is not your question.
yeah, sorry, i meant the sail behind hand, it looks like its coming out of the boom...He did warn they are going to be dumb ones.
Loose footed mainyeah, sorry, i meant the sail behind hand, it looks like its coming out of the boom...
I thought your dumb question was about the bearded person‘s choice of a cuffed skinny fit pant leg look for sailing attire.….please explain this
Yeah there is something not quite right there. But I don't know what it is.yeah, sorry, i meant the sail behind hand, it looks like its coming out of the boom...
Clearly this boat is marketed to millenial poofters.I thought your dumb question was about the bearded person‘s choice of a cuffed skinny fit pant leg look for sailing attire.
There is kind of a white stripe in the foot (which does actually look a bit like bolt rope... not saying it IS, just that there is a stripe). The stripe does not follow a fair curve. Near the person's hand, the white stripe has a kind of bulge upward.I think you are asking about the loose footed main. The main has no boltrope in the foot, and only attached at the tack and clew.
Well it is pride month.Clearly this boat is marketed to millenial poofters.
