Went to doctor in Fort Lauderdale for the physical to renew my captains license a couple of weeks ago. The doc and the nurses were wearing masks and handing one to everyone that walked in the door.

I wasn't wearing a mask in Ireland but have been wearing around the house for the past week. I've been isolating in my daughter's bedroom. My wife, who is not wearing a mask, has not got it yet, despite me testing positive 1 week later. So yes, masks reduce transmission.
