Because your definition required definite symptoms. A significant proportion of Covid cases were asymptomatic I.e. no symptoms.Of course.
What would that do to the CFR?

So, no symptoms, no test, not recorded as covid. Correct.Because your definition required definite symptoms. A significant proportion of Covid cases were asymptomatic I.e. no symptoms.
So, no symptoms, no test, not recorded as covid. Correct.
So what does that do to the CFR?
So your saying if a person tests positive for covid, displays covid symptoms, and dies, it's not a covid death? No not correct. As I said there were large numbers of tests done for people who were asymptomatic. Of course add to that those who had Covid like symptoms.
It skews the CFR to overstate the number of deaths. For example a person might die of Pneumonia, no bacterial test done but if they PCR tested positive within 20 days of death it is classified as a Covid death. Did a person with very advanced dementia die of Covid or dementia? Many people in the last stages of dementia die of Pneumonia.
I'm not saying that at all. Your original question was what was the definition of an infection. So your saying if a person tests positive for covid, displays covid symptoms, and dies, it's not a covid death?
So your not saying that those asymptomatic and testing positive are false positives?I'm not saying that at all. Your original question was what was the definition of an infection.
Now you are asking how do you define a Covid death.
Again depends on how you define a positive. You might have a PCR test over 25 cycles return a negative but increase to 35 and you get a positive. Is 25 cycles classified as a false negative infection/case?So your not saying that those asymptomatic and testing positive are false positives?
Why are you changing definitions? That's 3 different cycle amounts you've posted.Again depends on how you define a positive. You might have a PCR test over 25 cycles return a negative but increase to 35 and you get a positive. Is 25 cycles classified as a false negative infection/case?
That's the whole point with respect to your question regarding the definition of an infection. Why are you changing definitions? That's 3 different cycle amounts you've posted.
You've lost me.That's the whole point with respect to your question regarding the definition of an infection.
Which one?Whats wrong with the dictionary definition?
Now you are finally starting to get it.You've lost me.
Now you are finally starting to get it.
I think EVERYONE can agree it depends on ones chosen definition of vaccine on any given day.
...
No, it does not.
We just need to dumb it down for people who don't understand the basics... the very basic-basics... of cell biology. You do know what a "cell" is, right?
Here's a question you may be able to comprehend:
Does a "vaccine" (by whatever definition you chose, one that "works") keep a germ or virus from entering any cells?
Does it prevent the disease-causing thing (germ, virus, bacteria, whatever) from entering the body?
Sit down. Now you are just yelling for attention from the corner of the room. I wasn't talking to you here. You are confusing threads. How about answering my questions on your definition of "vaccine," you've had a couple of days now to think/google it over.
How about it? How -do- vaccines work, in your definition?
Sit down. Now you are just yelling for attention from the corner of the room. I wasn't talking to you here. You are confusing threads.
No, you just bore me. You are free to believe what you wish. Good day.Now you are just admitting that you don't have a fucking clue.
Thanks, most of us already knew it, but confirmation is nice.
No, you just bore me. You are free to believe what you wish. Good day.
Because you cross quoted and posted a reply from a different thread. Clearly you are confused easily. Why not answer an easy question and prove you're not a moron?
Because you don't know the answer, you fucking moron!

I understand that you are trying to affirm your social identity, but that is not my interest here.
