My deceased brother’s favorite classical piece. He always went to the Detroit Symphony when they performed it, same as I attend every performance of Bolero…going again next month.

I have my brother’s CD of Carmina, and it gives me good memories when I play it.

I went to see the opera performed at the Kennedy Center. My date was Hungarian and spoke about 12 languages fluently. She whispered a running transalation of the lyrics throughout the entire performance. It is really a very funny piece if you know what's being said. There were a few others in the audience that were laughing at the same things we were.....
