1)Replay of the coach Carroll and players answering media questions after yesterdays Seahawks loss a few minutes ago. BTW The Seahawks were awesome this year, outdoing expectations of the national and local media, as well as their fans.

2)The whir of my laptop workstation's fan, as I wait for the power to be restored - which is supposed to be in by 1800hrs or about a minute ago.

3) My wife alternating between snoring & breathing as she sleeps - waiting on the power to be restored, as well.

The story goes Bowie originally offered MtH Suffragette City, but they listened to his demo and said "That's shit, it'll never go anywhere." So they took Young Dudes instead. Worked out okay for everyone. (Bowie's demos could be great, or they could be terrible. The final song was usually ace.)
