Suspended from the ceiling in rope slings looks to be a decent sized hull form/Scale model or is it something else??. Is it as old as it looks or is it just a purposely made and aged stage prop?

Digging up an old thread I know... This is the boat I was thinking of. It's a Sonder class yacht but the keel is a little different...
