What sunglasses do you wear?

Anyone tried these?  My daughter (Navy Helo Pilot) wears them anytime she doesn't want to risk losing/damaging her good wayarers.  Says she can't tell the difference...

Hadn't heard of them, but they look damn near identical to the Smith Lowdowns I've been wearing for a fraction of the price. Just ordered a pair, I'll try to remember to update after they arrive.

I am recycling all Kaenon's and putting Takjima prescrition lenses in them. Its a bitch getting old.

Bose sunglasses for the start of the race or when i am solo sailing; the audio countdown function is nice as is the blue tooth vhf patch in to race committee plus can listen to music. i can switch lenses for light conditions. Switch to Maui Jims when working the sails and driving during the mid day sun.

Suncloud is another good choice in the less expensive range... 

if you really want an inexpensive choice , Dewalt makes a safety sunglasses with bi-focal..    only they're  not polarized, but they work pretty well... i like using them when working on the outside of the boat.. Dewalt does make polarized sunglasses, but not in bi-focal for some reason..    all are around $12

Wiley-X Air Rage.  I use them for flying gliders and sailing.  They double as ski goggles with the "facial cavity seal" installed.  Comfortable and bulletproof. 

I bought a second pair because I liked the first pair so much, and I was worried I wouldn't be able to get them again as models evolve.  Still on the first pair 3 years later.  They are still available.

Costa Del Mar have been good for me for a long time. The sunglasses strap never leaves which has helped with longevity. Can't lose what you don't put down. Polarized prescription. Based on this thread, the polarization is my new go-to excuse for why I am shitty at reading puffs.

Back in my boatbullding days we used Sheridan Safety for ppe.

That is how I learned that. Sunglasses are all profilt and mas.rketing.

Does anyone make really good sunglasses with built-in readers?  I bought Sunclouds last year...the readers are great but there is fine but noticeable distortion when looking at the horizon.

I'll second the Julbos best ive ever owned where pretty much nonstop doing everything from construction everyday to everything else outside 1 yr not a scratch yet. smiths made it 3 months oakley maybe little longer, photo chromatic lenses ideal.

That’s the problem I have with the pair my brother lent me. Good for reading with a bifocal, but poor clarity through the main lens. All my previous prescription lenses were either Ray Ban, Maui Jim and Nike. Now that I have clear vision, the cheapo glasses impede my vision
