What the hell happened?

I've always gotten to the forums just by clicking on a Favorites link. All of a sudden I'm getting Error 403 Forbidden....so it won't connect.

I got here via the SA Home Page which I also have in my Favorites, then clicked on the Forums link....so that worked fine.

Any ideas what broke and how to fix it?

NVM...I fixed it. I deleted my previous Favorites listing and added a new one for the GA forum. Seems to work now, but I still don't have a clue what happened.

1/2 of the forum seems to have gone blank. the stuff that was on the sides has gone. I assume it's just the system backing up or something.

Wouldn't worrie about it.

Been getting a system error off and on the past couple weeks. Then yesterday half the page loads the original side color and the lower half is black.

Figured somebody is doing some tweaking.

Sounds like what happened to my original log in, I can clear it, but it comes back after a short while...Scot didn't seem too interested in fixing it, maybe now it will get his attention. Did you get something that said sql error?

Seems to have fixed a couple of problems I was having with scrolling, ghost images at the bottom of the thread and memory usage. Loading seems to be slower though. Probably very platform dependent stuff. Anyway, thanks Dawg.

I thought it was my Adblocker 2.2.1 that was cleaning up those page margins. I installed it to get rid of the ads Facefook was putting in the Timelines, but it has cleaned up a number of sites for me.

There's another Firefox add-on blocker that eliminates even the Google ads.

Ditto me. It seems that my SA experience slows down measurably whenever the background gets more complex. There was a point before the blackout where each keystroke was taking a fraction of a second to register on the screen and scrolling was painfully slow.
