Pretty rare though. And it's hardly ever a minimalism problem.I think it's nice when obscenely rich people have good taste.
Yep. They just want to do something that demonstrates how rich they are and so have gawdy shit everywhere.Pretty rare though. And it's hardly ever a minimalism problem.
Why use paint when you can cover your walls, ceilings and floors with Carrara marble?Yep. They just want to do something that demonstrates how rich they are and so have gawdy shit everywhere.
I have to say, watching an interview with Lazza prior to the San Francisco cup, it was in the grounds of his house and looked understated and beautiful.
Although to be fair, I only saw a small part of it.
Here in the home of the AC Cup but not the racing I had a client next to the most expensive house in Paratai Drive. Why use paint when you can cover your walls, ceilings and floors with Carrara marble?
Paratai drive, yep, that's where I took that pic from. Here in the home of the AC Cup but not the racing I had a client next to the most expensive house in Paratai Drive.
He flew Italian tilers in to install some floor to ceiling engineered stone wall coverings in the bathrooms that had sterling silver added to the mix.
The client reaction to the completed works," looks like Seratone".
Taste is a very personal thing however in my experience the larger the $$$ pile taste becomes a heady blend of Versace meets the Warehouse.
I'm lucky enough to have a similar view, but at a mere fraction of that price. Rates are barely tolerable as well. ;-) No boat at the moment though, damn it.Paratai drive, yep, that's where I took that pic from.
Only $7995.00 at trevs marine in e tamakiI'm lucky enough to have a similar view, but at a mere fraction of that price. Rates are barely tolerable as well. ;-) No boat at the moment though, damn it.
Scene of a very ugly conflict of interest where the Akarana Yacht Club is seeking to gain control over the publicly owned hard stand haul out area at the expense of local boaties so they can expand their empire and convert the area to boat storage for club members.Only $7995.00 at trevs marine in e tamaki

A friend of mine likes to joke about getting two similar IACC hulls, selling the keels for scrap, making crossbeams out of some extra masts and making it all into a catamaran.... "You make a dolphin striker out of the boom, make the old mainsails into the tramps...."
They'd have no trouble keeping up to read the menu, with that ponderous lead mine at least.Wonder what those Orcas off the Portugal coast would make of that sailing by.

Better than the Malibu Barbie boats the current AC will be contested inThey'd have no trouble keeping up to read the menu, with that ponderous lead mine at least.
Not too much danger of lead poisoning though - so that's an advantage. ;-)Better than the Malibu Barbie boats the current AC will be contested in![]()
Sailed on one of them when we were in NZ. Four non-athletic types (including me) on the grinder to raise the main. Incredible control when steering, move the wheel a few inches and the boat turns a lot.In Auckland harbour, the two yachts from the 92 campaign are out on a regular basis. I see them everywhere! True Sail the genie is well out of the bottle with the fanging foilers ,no going back to carting 20 tons of lead around at 12 knots. They'd have no trouble keeping up to read the menu, with that ponderous lead mine at least.
Do the boats race each other, crewed by mostly tourists? Did you win? 🙂Sailed on one of them when we were in NZ. Four non-athletic types (including me) on the grinder to raise the main. Incredible control when steering, move the wheel a few inches and the boat turns a lot.
