I'm not seeing numbering on posts which I used to find really handy.

Yup, white is a bit hard on the eyes. No multi quote a problem also. Seems faster though.

Becomes more visible if the post is in focus (eg. you have a cursor in the post somewhere).

But that is not much use when scrolling down the page to look for a particular number. I will try a CSS hack
