Can we have size and make of the dinghy......or did you sail there in a larger craft and just land on the dinghy?

This is looking like Tiller's to lose.  Its likely an island because he landed on a dinghy.

Not many people have taken pictures from the island ....although many have taken pics of the island......so possibly a private island, and a little bit a trespassing ?

But it would have to be a hellva clear day to see from Pyramid point.

Bingo! The picture is taken from South fox island. North fox island is on the horizon. Both islands Visible in the link @shebeen posted.

I spent the night (trespassed?) on this private island on part of a 3 day cruise from Charlevoix to Beaver island to South fox back to Charlevoix.

Pictured below is the "Dinghy" on Beaver Island.

That was an epic mystery tour @Hork. Thanks for the clues. I was lucky to  check in just after you had dropped the crucial clue. This will be a tough act to follow.

Your welcome @Tillerman. I also would have also accepted North Fox, but you beat Mambo to it. I've got more where that came from.

I really thought it would be an easy one. Seeing as my location is listed as "Lake Michigan" and there are only half a dozen islands there. I understand its not a place many have been though. Here's the the dune I was standing on from google maps. How great is Google?

Not Jensen Beach. My RS Aero friends are actually spending all this week sailing at the US Sailing Center of Martin County in Jensen Beach - multi-day regattas on both weekends, coaching and a distance race in the week. Wish I could have been there.
