Chrishampe has found it! The Drogden lighthouse gave it away. We were there in April researching a book my wife wrote about the Danish Resistance in WWII. Crew from Dragor (pronounced Drayer) manned the lighthouse supply boat Gerda III, which had a daily run from Copenhagen out to the Drogden light. When the Nazis tried to round up all the Danish Jews on Rosh Hashanah, the crew decided they needed to do something about it. For weeks, Gerda III smuggled Jews to Sweden - making a detour in her daily route, right under the German's noses. After that they continued to ferry downed Allied airmen out and Resistance supplies (explosives, guns, ammunition) in. We took the Gerda IV out of Dragor to visit the lighthouse. The Gerda III is currently at Mystic Seaport in CT. Your go, Chris!
