Can't be in Hampshire or isle of wight, too many other sailing options to be on a pond like that.
Kent was a clue as a no no, so that gets me figuring that it must be somewhere in Sussex, east or west.

You are correct it’s not in Hampshire or the Isle of Wight. It’s also not in Sussex, Surrey, Greater London or Berkshire. 😀.

in that case we are down to the bits where people talk funny and double clot their cheese.
