So were the boats celebrating some Finnish autumn festival?@tillerman: the picture was taken in the fall. Presently they are only slightly warmer than in New England.
We used to do something very similar at Mountain Lakes Sailing Association in New Jersey when I was a member there. We called it the "night race" and it marked the end of the season. Awards were given for best illuminated boats as well as actual winners of the races. Not sure whether it’s common throughout Finland. It seems to mark the end of the season in this club. Apparently it’s not only the cold that keeps the Fins sailing their Finns, ILCAs, Aeros and Europes in winter.

There are a lot of good Finnish bands..A band that starred in a movie dedicated to a mexican composer and singer who died in 1932.

It's all that sailing in the darkness that does it.If you like comic/ thrash metal maybe 😂😂😀
I think @Der_Dude is trying to help us. Somehow his musical clues are meant to lead us to the name or location of the yacht club with its event in the dark for junior sailors. Along the way I learned that Argentinian tango dancing has a strong following in Finland.Having a hard time figuring out what dancing in Buenos Aires has to do with sailing in Finland at night.
