Since movies turned into ever-repeated formulae, I'm more interested in anonymous sheds.
OK. You asked for it. Here is an anonymous shed clue.

I found the shed for sale on Facebook Market Place. It is in the city where the sailor in the mystery photo sailed in her first Olympic Games. And it's free!!!

That shed is too ugly to be found in Europe so it's gotta be in the USA. Same USA city where an Olympic sailing medal was won could either be LA (1984) or Atlanta (1996) although sailing in 1996 was Savannah. No women events in 1984 and no women in top 3 of any of the open events. It seems too green in shed picture to be LA so I'll say the shed and mystery person are both from Savannah, Georgia. Is the mystery Gold medalist Kristine Roug who won gold for Denmark in the Europe?

As for the location of your mystery photo, no idea!

Great sleuthing but not entirely correct.
First of all, that shed really is in Europe. But I erred in saying it is in the city where our sailor won her first Olympic medal. I should have said that the city with the shed was where she first sailed in the Olympic Games. (She did not medal on the first attempt.) I have corrected my original post.

Our mystery sailor is not Danish and she is not Kristine Roug, but she did sail in the 1996 Olympics in Savannah. She did not medal on that attempt either.

OK. With all those clues this should really be easy now.

Is there a good reason that PY doesn't have wind speed dependent ratings?

I've got one of those sheds not ten feet from my boat... In my garden.

Your very nice shed is in Barcelona. https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/874881427214176/

The Caribbean location is Necker Island

The sailor is Shirley Robertson, the actress is Kate Winslet. The dog is Bento and attached to the arm is Richard Branson.
Well done @dogwatch . You are correct.
The mystery photo was a screenshot from this 2011 video.

After a successful career flying the flag for British sailing, with two Olympic gold medals to her name, Shirley Robertson is now considered one of the sport’s most successful broadcasters. Kate Winslet is one of the finest actresses of her generation, and is married to Richard Branson's nephew.
Richard Branson is Richard Branson and has been to space.

For the record, Tillerwoman correctly guessed the location in about 30 seconds but then we have sailed past that spot a few times.

If you are interested, you can rent Necker Island for $134,500 per night including free WiFi.

Over to you @dogwatch .

I'm afraid the only face I'd recognise from that somewhat fuzzy video is the bearded one, despite having encountered Shirley Robertson in real life several times over the decades. The first when she was a very shy teenager, putting in many miles to travel from Scotland to Europe dinghy regattas in southern England. I also met her in yachtie events in Cowes and one of my more gratifying race finishes was with her face recognisable 50m astern. In sailing every dog can have his day and that one was mine.

Is the point to make it "faster"?

Which countries in northern Europe have major rivers and sail FFs?

As previously requested, here's a shed.

Of course not. The harder the puzzle, the more interesting it is

England, Wales, Ireland, Scotland, Belgium, France.

What? I see no shed. Looks like somebody decided to build a yacht club up a cliff, hundreds of feet above the water. What were they thinking?

It's there. Sheds do seem to be your bête noire.

Yes. England, Wales, Ireland, Scotland, Belgium, France have major rivers and sail FFs. My first photo showed a FF with a GBR sail number. C'est pour brouiller les pistes.
Ahah. Are those French words and the GBR sail meant to help us or mislead us? Could mean it's a French speaking country or an English speaking country or neither.

On the other hand, it looks like the cars drive on the left side of the road and the right side of the road in the latest picture. Which means it could be UK or EU or maybe it's a one way street. I guess people need somewhere to park while they toss their boats over the cliff?
This is so difficult. I am feeling tempted to post a submarine photo.

Correct, the river is the Seine and the club I'm looking for is on the Seine. Association Voile de l'Ailette is, I think, a lake club.

Here's a shot of part of the club. There's a clue on its name. Who will solve it first? Tillerman! All is not lost! Der Dude, you are so close!

Since I've confirmed it is in France it isn't really relevant now but if you'd translated "c'est pour brouiller les pistes", I think the country was clear. All information I've given is correct, that GBR sail number is that of a local boat. Don't bother searching though, the specific sail number is hard to track down. I know, because otherwise that would have made it too easy.
