The fact that this is the fourth "shed" reminds me of this quote:
"Everyone said I was daft to build a castle on a swamp, but I built in all the same, just to show them. It sank into the swamp. So I built a second one. That sank into the swamp. So I built a third. That burned down, fell over, then sank into the swamp. But the fourth one stayed up."
The first two sheds burned, the third became run-down and was demolished...but the fourth one is pretty cool.

The third instance went by RYTAC (Rotary-YMCA Tennis and Aquatic Club), and they hosted the sailing portion of Friendship Games between Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario and Saginaw, Michigan.
With the currents, and wind coming off Lake Superior, us teenagers from Saginaw were fighting for the last places...the local kids kicked our butts. My best finish, I was knocked down four times.
(Got so jumping on the dagger board was a 'practiced maneuver' on my Laser...along with managing the bridle during gybes to keep it from snagging on the transom corner).

Yeah, that is what I am hoping for a handle on. There's a discussion on replicas going on elsewhere. The 1967 one, which was supposedly scrapped, is being rebuilt in Italy. Someone - but we haven't worked out who - is spending a lot of money on it.

That was 17JUL2016, in Southport, CT. Our spot in the mooring field gave us a ringside seat for her high-tide entry. Quite the event with people dressing ship and the club opening for the public to access the schooner. We then saw her again coming in to Boothbay, ME later that summer.
