My mother attended Roedean and went with the school to Canada during the Blitz. She met Americans there who got her into college in the US (lucky for me!). Visiting cousins in Tunbridge Wells we of course had to check it out. Brighton, UK is the place and Tillerman is back at the helm!

The school is set up at the top of the cliff overlooking the Channel and is quite imposing- definitely something German bombers would have wanted to target. Up close it has a Hogwartian aura of age and permanence.

It’s the English south coast somewhere . Probably Sussex or Hampshire. I’m know a lot of Hampshire clubs and it doesn’t look familiar , so I think it’s Sussex.
I will start the ball rolling by guessing Bexhill Sailing club. 😀

Brighton has Roedean and Bexhill had a famous (or perhaps infamous) girls school too...

For the geographically challenged, the East Midlands consists of Leicestershire, Derbyshire, Lincolnshire (except North and North East Lincolnshire), Northamptonshire, Nottinghamshire and Rutland.

Though as a midlander born and bred there are at least a couple of counties were the residents would not call themselves East Midlanders 😂😀
