It looks like a delightful spot. Do they have any RS Aeros? If Americans elect Trump as president again I may be looking for somewhere like this to retire to.

They do have some Aeros but if class racing is your thing this club is not for you. They PY handicap race with the odd personal handicap series.
It’s going to be the venue of the British moth nationals this year so I will be checking this club out for when my club closes as it’s within 35 mins of my house .
Northampton is a lovely club, I’ve sailed there and been drunk there quite a few times over the years. 😀

Tally ho. But the Belvoir country is certainly in the East Midlands. Quite posh afaik.
Tillerman. As I said it a lovely club and within 35 mins of my house( a clue if anyone remembers where I live 😀) .
I would be sailing there now but for one reason, they stop sailing between Christmas and March.
I know why clubs did this in the 50s and 60s , no idea why they do it now.
One of the joys of being a pond monkey in the uk is the ability to sail all year round . 😀

True. Know that area well. I was being a little facetious. Belvoir Castle is only a few miles from the centre of the East Midlands region.
My daughter when to uni in Northampton and all the locals she met though of themselves as midlanders not east midlanders no idea why ( they thought of the East Midlands as being more Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire way ) . On the other hand you go just a little east from Northampton to Rushton and it’s all fenland and extra fingers land and it shouldn’t be as your still west of Huntingdon 😂😂😀.

I know there's obvious but putting up a picture with Hollowell SC in the corner is a bit too obvious.
Ps my club is well north and east of London and have no spare places on the dinghy island...

Wind permitting I'll be sailing.
At Snowflake Sailing club, here in Norfolk ( in Anglia) most clubs close for the winter. But Snowflake SC hires Horning sailing club for the winter and there is Frostbite SC on the Southern rivers.

Opps 😂😂😂😂 (in my defence, it’s doesn’t show on the pic when I downloaded on to my iPad ).
Hollowell and Banbury are the only clubs near me that still close over winter that I know of . It’s silly as this is the best time to sail at most inland clubs .
