You are correct.Looking at the rigging, I think the boat is the RS Feva.
Thought Magic Marine might get me somewhere...

...don't really look like the terrain in the background...and there are 158 locations in europe.
Correct! The first photo shows some of the RS Fevas waiting to be rigged for the event. I hear there will be 35 boats entered with over 50% female participation. They expect to have 50 boats for the RS Feva nationals next month. But what country are we in? And who will be first to point us to the sailing club?Looking at the rigging, I think the boat is the RS Feva.
Good sleuthing. Well done! The photo is of Naval Point Club Lyttleton which is near Christchurch. The RS Feva sailors have been invited there to take part in the SailGP Inspire program.OK - so it had to be southern hemishere for nationals to be next month...
I started and ended looking into NZ.

The name AINSLIE on the Finn sail is a big clue! It's in the National Maritime Museum in Falmouth, Cornwall.View attachment 580245
Museum time!
I debated a shot that didn't have the Finn but I guess I picked too easy. The name AINSLIE on the Finn sail is a big clue! It's in the National Maritime Museum in Falmouth, Cornwall.
I think the last time I was in Cornwall was in 1973 which was way before the time the museum was built. Looks like I have to put it on my bucket list if I ever go back to England.
RS boats? Hmmm. That narrows it down to somewhere on Earth. Probably.
Brilliant! Now that I've eliminated most of the known universe, I will take a well-earned rest and let others figure out the details.Yes...on Earth![]()
