Clue #1 Gary Jobson is a past North American Champion in this class.

Clue #2 A few years ago, the then current North American Champion in the mystery class (not Gary Jobson) showed up at a local RS Aero regatta and beat us all.

Clue #3 This century, the most popular venue for this class's Midwinters Chamopionship is in the Florida Keys.

Clue #4 Back in the day, this class held 4 World Championships, but they have not held a World Championship for several decades.

That was obscure. Never even heard of the Force 5 class.
They are interesting looking boats. A little like a big streaker but with a lot more sail area on a stiff three piece unstayed mast . They look like they would be a handful in a blow. They have a very active fb page if you fancy a look.

Sorry @tillerman, an old wooden boat. I am after the exact local variant on the theme and where it is sailed.

Mmm most likely something called ( insert name ) scow. Also most likely the south coast or the Isle of Wight.
Cannot be a Lymington scow as they are only made in grp.

So my guess is a Keyhaven scow at Keyhaven or St Denys boat club .

It's a scow but not a Keyhaven scow. Lymington scows were being built before GRP was invented but it isn't one of those either.

In my last puzzle, someone asked a question which relates to the answer.

Correct. The second part of the question, which should be easy now, was "where is it sailed?" I'm looking for the club.

Sorry for the crappy image, it was a screen grab from a video. Those who have tried it lately will recognise that finding non-searchable images is getting harder all the time,

Yes that was the question I meant. Xeon has established this is a Avon Scow. That is a class at the club whose name is the second part of the question. There aren't so many candidates.

That's the one. I found this rather nice aerial shot of Christchurch Harbour at LW, didn't need it. The club is off past top left. One of my wealthier friends has a hut along the gravel spit at the bottom, which go for exotic sums for what they are.

Yet another River Avon drains into the harbour, along with the Stour.
