Lake Hopatcong?
I spent 3 summers on that lake - running the junior sailing program for LHYC in the early 2000s.That didn't take longBack to you @tillerman
My only outings on that lake were sailing lessons I gave to a guy who bought a Precision 18 without knowing how to sail. But I've always been a bit envious of the Thistle racers there.I spent 3 summers on that lake - running the junior sailing program for LHYC in the early 2000s.

And if you know where to look, you will find that the mystery place has been featured before in the "where in the world" thread.
Yes! It is Lake Hopatcong. Again! After all, this is Sailing Anarchy. The final photo is one of the E-scows from LHYC.Very sneaky... Also Lake Hopatcong. I didn't know they raced DNs there. I remember years ago lots of iceboaters on Greenwood.
It's definitely not Lake Hopatcong.
Wow. Just wow. Nailed it. Your ball dgibbsmi. My first thought was "That looks like somewhere in Michigan" (very much like the lake I sailed on last weekend).
Turns out Wayfarer 1028 is sailed by Matt Dailey/Nick Burtka out of the Michigan Sailing Club
(right here in my back yard on Strawberry Lake near Dexter).
The pic looks too large and developed for Strawberry Lake...
so I am going to guess the pic was taken at the Clark Lake Fall Regatta, hosted by CLYC
(Located a few miles south of Jackson, Michigan)
