Those Wetas do look like a sweet ride.

They are good fun...bought mine last year. Whole boat weighs under 300 lbs and can put up 221 sq ft of sail (20.5 m2). Definitely a lot easier to single-hand than my Hobie 18 was...but still handles 2-up when the Mrs. wants to join.

Yeah - I saw Wetas at the Gorge in 2015. A bit heavier than my RS Aero, but, as you say, a great option if you want to race two-up some times.
