In a resurfaced 2020 interview George Santos claimed he met Jeffrey Epstein, and entertained the idea that he could still be alive​

"I met Epstein in a couple of private equity conferences," Santos said on the conservative podcast "The Rory Sauter Show" in August 2020. "I've never dealt with him personally, but I've met him, I've seen him."

Sure you did, George. Was that when you were working at Goldman Sachs? Or, at Citigroup?

But Santos is not just another candidate. He was exceptionally bad, and if the Ds considered the district an unsafe one, one that was up for grabs...why did they not pay attention to the R candidate? His lies were obvious and easy pickings.

Now that there is some rapid goalpost transport from the Maher's original point about gay Jewish Democrats getting all weak in the knees about a Republican gay Jew.

But let's look at it anyways.

Actually, if you want to blame anyone for the choice of Santos as a candidate, you have to blame the Nassau County GOP and not even the Republican voters. That's because the Nassau County GOP cancelled their district's Republican primary for BOTH 2020 and 2022 and simply awarded the nomination to this Santos goy. That's right. Not only did they not vet him, they even cleared the field for him. This all despite the district being a prime pickup opportunity, you know, one that was up for grabs.

The Dems? They did the responsible thing and held a messy primary where even the 4th place finisher got 15%. Boring.

No goalposts. You've attributed views to me that I have not stated, and imagine that simply because I said Maher has a point that I am embracing all aspects of what he said. That is not the case. Speaking of goalposts moving, my question was how he got elected, NOT how he got nominated.

I didn't edit your post. I'm pretty sure I just hit reply. I occasionally snip posts and I occasionally highlight sections. But I don't think I did here. Can you double check? I haven't checked the entire thread.

I'm not really arguing against you. I'm arguing against Maher and you posted his video. Yes, I'm certainly aware that that isn't an endorsement of every dumb idea he's had.
