Why Can't The Teachers at our local school be like this?

I think schools are communitiemore than anything else. If teh community is unwilling to treat her as "just one of us" her effectiveness as a teacher will be comprimised.
Personally?? I would repeatedly hold meetingas and as her fellow teachers to do their best to try to get past the porn stuff and just let her live and do her job.
But. I believe the task of attaining normalcy for her could easily be impossible.
You wouldn't find my name on a list of those who wanted her fired.
But, there are educational priorities that probably come well ahead of fighting for her job.

This junior high, in a ghetto comparable with any in the nation, has enough on its plate without her pizza delivery.
