Why Did It Take A Catastrophe?

"It is our lowest income communities, and our communities of color, that are most impacted by these extreme conditions".

I’ll keep posting her actual words until you morons comprehend what she said.
They are the lowest income communities because they have reached their comfort level in this world.
This is the land of equal opportunity and there are endless examples of success going from the bottom to the top in a single life, in a single generation.
This country has multiple safety nets and accommodations for those that quit and sit.
The “ lowest” are actually and factually the LEAST “ impacted”

Looters should be shot on sight IMO.
Hmm. Taking a few hundred dollars worth of posessions should result in death, while banking execs and PPP fraudsters steal millions and are subject to... fines?

Property ain't worth killing people unless thinking long and hard about it. Otherwise we are all Kyle Rittenhouse.

Sorry, I misunderstood. I thought I was responding to your off-topic post saying that calling the administration racist was preposterous despite its recent behavior being racist on its face.
Some of us see things with eyes wide open, others like yourself, see with one eye closed.

No, you are the moron. Seriously, you are one dumb motherfucker. You are so dumb that it must hurt.

She is talking about distributing hurricane aid on the basis of race. That is racist. There is no need for it. Just distribute it based on need.
Except, she’s not.

That is possibly the dumbest thing I have read here on PA since I started coming here.

And that, ladies and gents, is white privilege in action.

VVV is telling himself that steering recovery dollars to rebuilding second homes is more important than rebuilding schools, libraries, infrastructure, sustainable housing and mitigating climate impacts on whole communities.

MAGA in a nutshell. Fuck that.

Not what I said at all
We rebuild slumstainable housing every 30 years because it gets trashed because it has no real meaning or value to “them “
Mitigating climate impacts is immeasurable unquantifiable prattle!

They aren't even subject to fines but...

Looters after a catastrophe are the worst kind of lowlife. They are in the same class as those heartless scum who watch the obits and rob houses when the family is at the funeral.

Why should we make space for creatures like that - it ain't like we're short of people.

But Wait - he's right, poor people are only poor because they are lazy.

And besides, they like being poor.

Again, your white privilege is showing. Your presumption to think you know what sustainable housing means to all helped by it shows how ignorant you are.

My wife was one of a family of 11 who relied on public assistance in her youth. They are now doctors, pharmacists and engineers. Investing in people and infrastructure is the job of the government, in part to improve the future tax base. Why would you bankrupt America after trickle down has been proven to suck?

You would have the government spend more upon the rich and their second homes because of bias towards the poor.

Preparing for climate change means making decisions directly opposed to the desires of the rich. It means protecting wetlands and minimizing shoreline development. It means protecting water resources by regulating pollution and industrial water use. In Florida this means taking on big sugar. Out west it means changing water rights thereby threatening Big Agriculture. In the south and across many states it means a different calculus between water and energy, and across the nation it means restructuring where we grow food and what we eat.

All Americans choosing to not eat meat one day a week means reducing water use in our country by as much as the water flow of the Colorado in a year. If we want Lake Meade and Lake Powell to recover, to continue to enjoy hydroelectric power from the river this is exactly the kind of choice CONservatives fear.

Fucking wimps.

Calling you out on your racism makes me a moron. Sure, buddy. Whatever makes your tender, fragile white male ego stay intact.
Well, you have to admit, you were a moron long before you called me a racist for calling out Kamala's racism.

Good for you, hardworking and saving. Many heartwarming examples of people like you today that didn’t enjoy your advantage of speaking English.
The rest of your post is simply your choice of how to go about your life, don’t cram your notions down everyone else’s throat’s
