Without factory installed prod and without a Triad road trailer.

You get what you pay for.
Only if you are lucky
Jersey, you are dead wrong. Luck is only a prerequisite for the blind, the deaf, and of course those who are dumb.

There is more to a boat than the model, year, and asking price. It is up to the purchaser to exercise due diligence.

You can be as diligent as you want and still get screwed. There are no guarantees.

To get us back on topic: Solo sail, temp in the upper 50s, a perfect breeze and of course the perfect boat.

Apparently you are a limp noodle dick girlie boy unsuccessfully attempting to get a woody by giving my posts as many thumb down reviews as possible who is miffed that my racing programs consistently get awards at major regattas like a dozen Citizen Chronographs while the best you can do is win an occasional church basement bingo game played with other eunuchs.

Did someone say something?

Another J/100 just came into our club.  The owners are downsizing from a larger, full-crew race boat and are really enjoying their new ride.

They are great-looking boats and appear to sail well.

Why would I be asking for help from a bottom feeding carp like you who can't ignore me after publicly promising to do so?

It appears that you are obsessed with thumbs down rating my posts to the point of addiction. Seek professional help immediately before it is too late.

That’s funny coming from someone who need’s an owner’s manual for a damned boat.

I would say that j/100 sales are still strong even with J/9 model taking orders. A 2005 j100 with sprit just sold for 100k in RI.  Quite a few people joined the owners group on FB but would encourage anyone else with one to sign up.  My guess is most are being used for day sailing and local fleet racing. It would be nice to gather up enough interest from J100 owners to have a presence at a future national regatta. Not necessarily to have their own start but at least a few boats on the line. But I guess if a boats as pleasant to sail as the J100, even your local harbor or venue is plenty fun enough.
